Virtual
reality or augmented visions are some of the buzzwords that have set the world
in motion in this 22nd century. However, this experience has been around since
the mid-80s, but technology always seems to hold it back. Credit goes to Oculus
Rift that over the last few years allowed other to dream up competing for
headsets that support virtual reality. Lately, there has been Samsung Gear VR,
Google cardboard, Morpheus, OSVR and now HTC Vive.
UI/UX design studio
Bangalore sprang into a
discussion about HTC Vive to dissect and helps users know what sets it apart.
Rift was exclusively for seated experience, it is good for a specific genre of
games like cockpit. But Vive is meant to be used for using throughout the room,
whether you walk or stand or sit. Within minutes, you can create a
holodeck-like space in your room just like Star Trek and walk virtually in your
room.
Talking
about the user experience of HTC Vive it is not required to mention that it has
changed the approach to UI/UX. At our Interaction
design agency Bangalore, we have tested that no matter how high the
resolution of the screen is, it is not so tough to see the individual pixels
whether it is just an inch or two from our eyes.
You
will find the upshot is as long as the processing. The UI and tracking are
equally sharp. The screen door is not very distracting. And after a few minutes
of playing a game, the immersion is enough to stop you from looking into it. It
also helps the users to adapt this aesthetic to this sort of effect. High
definition textures, landscapes, and flat surfaces look a little sharper.
Vive’s
display is all about the edges of the display and rings around the field of
view. When the edges of the vision are dark, the supporting structure blends.
When the screen is brightly lit, it appears like wearing a pair of sunglasses
with big frames. It is not detrimental to experience, but can definitely
downgrade the sense of immersion.
Creative studio in
Bangalore says that HTC Vive
offers a virtual reality that forms a cohesive and engaging experience. Being
able to move around in a small space is also a boon to realism. The freedom of
movements helps to keep the virtual world engaging to users when you might not
be a part of it.
Vive
at present is offering enough space for room-scale experience and some
excellent graphic qualities. Mobile app development Bangalore
has observed that HTC Vive offers dynamic experiences to gamers. Moreover, our UI/UX design agency Bangalore has also
seen that creating immersive experience is what they this device wants and thus
built more intuitive action, rather than an abstract form that a traditional
game controller requires.
It is
all about creating fundamental and multi-sensory experiences and no doubt, HTC
Vive has been successful in achieving it. Even if you do not want to experience
virtual reality, you need to try Vive. Well, this is a type of VR experience,
which most of us dream about. And see here it is!
